It was a step down in many ways but it’s not a bad or mediocre game by itself (especially Razor's Edge). On topic, no NG3RE is fine, i personally like it, it has some highs and you can see what they were going for with the "Steel on Bone" concept and they were trying to appeal to the main stream audience since this was 2012 where game development budgets was skyrocketing and selling to a niche audience for around 200k-500k was no longer viable and considering that they merged with Koei (a company that sells low-mid budget titles like Musou with DLC out the ass and multiple itterations of the same game) they had this last chance to make the series be mainstream. When they mimic his recipe, they seem to faulter.Ĭlick to expand.I fucking hate this cunt. Maybe it’s time to build upon Itagaki’s work, but in a new way that will play to Team Ninja’s strengths. Also consider that his games were quite the departure from the original games, in a way as well. As much as I love the Itagak games, he is gone now. Maybe Ninja Gaiden could do with a bit of reinvention. Sekiro balanced stealth and combat to a similar degree of what I’m saying, but the stealth was really quite dull. I mean, how cool would that be? The enemies are certainly deadly enough to allow it, and I don’t think it means we wouldn’t get our fill of action. Not Mary Jane stealth, but Tenchu stealth. I have to wonder if it’d actually be possible to implement stealth without breaking the action. Ninja Gaiden should always be primarily focused on action imo, but it is nice to break up the pace. Or maybe just the first games approach but expanded upon and polished to a better degree. While I think they all work well, conceptually, to varying degrees, I’d like to see something new attempted. (For all of RE’s faults, the smoke sequence was a fun idea) The third game used walking, quick time events, and the like. The second game did away with it and was 100% action. The first game used puzzles and exploration. I wonder how they will pace the next Ninja Gaiden game. Happily, after that, they maked nioh and thisbis a great japanese game The most important thing is break they magic armor with strong hit and be careful with grabs You can charge ultimate when they go down to refil energy. At that time japan games was suffering a identity crisis. The last chapter in tokyo is terrible, all is grey and is so different from tokyo of Ninja Gaiden 2, and they insist on colossus bosses. I think they tried to make ninja gaiben be more Westerned like god of war. I like the fact that we dont have essences, so we cant keep spamming ultimate techniques, but in other hand, we have to keep spamming 360º with scythe.īut, the worst thing in this are the bosses. This is the worst game in the collection, but this have some good ideias. I'm going for 3 Platinum and beated the harder parts in this and on sigma 2. This week I beated this game sometimes, including ultimate ninja difficult.
